Short Assistance care

A caregiver will come to the senior's residence for a flat fee at an agreed time. Available are 2 hour and 3 hour visits. This time can be used to assist the senior with transfers/ambulation, bathing/showering, shaving/oral hygiene, dressing, laundry/light housekeeping, medication reminders, prepare a meal, transportation to a doctor’s appointment, hairdresser, grocery shopping, run errands, etc.

24-hour Services

Shannon Private Home Care offers 24-hour service in which caregivers provide assistance whenever it is needed. However, it is crucial to prioritize the caregiver's well-being by allowing them regular rest times and uninterrupted sleep at night. To achieve this balance, we provide 24-hour care for 7 days a week, with the primary caregiver working for 5 days and then handing over to a reliever for the weekend. This arrangement not only proves to be the most cost-effective option but also guarantees uninterrupted in home care for your loved one, maintaining their daily routine without any disruptions.

Hourly Care

An hourly live-out caregiver will come to the senior's residence, hospital, nursing home or assisted living facility and assist her or him according to the personalized care plan and time frame agreed upon. The minimum is four hours per visit.

Shannon Private Home Care is flexible with your schedule. As you need more or less home health care, we will adjust your days and hours to accommodate you. Our services are available from just two hours a day up to twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. When you are having difficulty with your schedule, we have a staffing professional available twenty-four hours a day to assist you. All of our private home care services are tailored to meet your individual needs.
